This competition is organized by Chinese Weekly, which is authorized by NAPROCK (Nourishment Association for Programming Contest KOSEN) from Japan to organize a software programming competition in Malaysia based on Japan Technical College Programming Contest or KOSEN PROCON module. The KOSEN PROCON event in Japan has been organized by NAPROCK and Technical College Association annually since 1990. Participants are from 57 Japan technical colleges and the purpose of the event is to create motivation of learning. It’s a proven effective method to nurture innovative talents for the industry in Japan for several decades.
The aim of this Malaysia competition is to create an environment to nurture innovative young generation well-prepared for Industry 4.0 based on Japan technical college judgement standard and to promote exchange between Malaysia-Japan students. The first prize winning team of this competition is eligible to represent Malaysia to participate in the Original Section of the KOSEN PROCON on 27th – 28th October 2018 at Tokushima City, Japan.
