Thirteen students and academics from the Lee Kong Chian Faculty of Engineering and Science’s (LKC FES) Department of Architecture and Sustainable Design (DASD) painted a mural titled “The Swimming Koi Fish” over a period of 14 non-consecutive days from November 2016 to March 2017.

In the 13th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE), Malaysia Regional Group, third year Bachelor of Engineering (HONS) Civil Engineering student Lee Kah Min was awarded one of the Book Prize 2015.

Staff and students from the Department of Mechatronics & Biomedical Engineering recently participated in the 2016 Hackathon – Materialise and won the cash prize of RM3,000 from the track Innovative use of 3D Printing Technologies, sponsored by Materialise
UTAR LKCFES students won 5th place in 33-Hour Hackathon
It was a big harvest for UTAR Team at the 27th Annual PAM Architecture Students Workshop held from 20 to 24 October 2015 at Limkokwing University. UTAR Architecture students had proven themselves once again, by winning 4 prizes out of 6 competing categories.
Lee Kong Chian Faculty of Engineering & Science
The Lee Kong Chian Faculty of Engineering & Science (LKC FES) was established in 2004 at the then Kuala Lumpur Campus in Setapak with four programmes. In June 2015, the faculty relocated to the Sungai Long Campus and is now offering a total of 24 programmes ranging from Bachelor to Doctoral levels in the areas of engineering, science, mathematics and information & communication technology.
